Chinese ambassador to Israel found dead at home, says Israeli foreign ministry

Israel appreciates great relations with China. The minister's passing comes only two days after he censured remarks by visiting US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who criticized Chinese interests in Israel and blamed China for concealing data about the COVID-19 episode. Israel's Channel 12 TV, citing unidentified crisis clinical authorities, said introductory signs were that Du passed away.

Wei is made due by a spouse and child, both of whom are not in Israel. The nation's Foreign Ministry has given no reason for his passing, however said on Sunday that police are exploring matters further.
